RYDER - "For What It's Worth" Review

RYDER from Queens, NY are set to release their upcoming album "For What It's Worth" on February 13th and will be available for purchase at this link https://ryderband.bandcamp.com/album/for-what-its-worth

Ryder For What It's Worth was recorded live at Blackthorn 51 in Queens, NY on Wednesday October 11th, 2017. It is scheduled for release on February 13th, 2018. Alexey Menkov served as live engineer and mixer for the EP.

It is also the first release to feature Billy Smith on Drums and Tim Freyr on Bass Guitar.

My take on the tunes ? I love the tunes, very well put together, James Ryder does an excellent job of belting out the vocals with extreme clarity. Andrew Bloch makes the guitar sing with some very interesting and very nice riffs. Tim Freyr is spot on with the bass notes and adds a nice funkalicious groove to the mix. And Billy Smith on the drums ! Very nice work pounding on the skins, really makes you realize what importance the drummer has when it comes to making music and making it mesh together in a way that the fans can accept very easily ! All in all, I urge my friends and those that are not friends yet to check out the band, like their page, buy the music and jam as I did ! It will unleash your inner "Groove Monkey" with the arrangement and the ease at which these guys work together.
